B-FoST Congress

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure and privilege to invite you on the 1st Black Sea Association of Food science and Technology - B-FoST Congress that will take place in Ohrid, Macedonia, from 22 to 24 September 2016. This biennial Congress is gathering the representatives of universities and research institutes, but also food producers and distributors, to promote research, development, innovation and education within food science and technology.

This Congress is organized in cooperation with: European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group (EHEDG), Global Harmonization Initiative (GHI), and European Federation of Food Science and Technology (EFFoST).

We would like to invite all interested scientists, professionals, companies, governmental officials, and professional associations working in the fields of food production, food processing, food quality and safety, health, nutrition, hygienic engineering and design, innovative technologies, new trends in food safety, from Europe and all around the world to attend this event.

JOURNAL OF HYGIENIC ENGINEERING AND DESIGN

Journal of Hygienic Engineering and Design (JHED) is a platform joining industry, expert and scientific community, and consumers. JHED is unique electronic Journal in the world dedicated to:

1. Hygienic Engineering and Design

2. Food Quality and Safety and

3. Food Production and Processing.

JHED VOLUMES

 

The first JHED volume was issued in 2011 for the first World Congress in Hygienic Engineering and Design, which took place in Ohrid, Macedonia, from 22-25th of September. This issue included 75 high quality practical and science based papers from 19 countries worldwide: The Netherlands, Germany, France, Great Britain, Denmark, Finland, Belgium, Spain, Poland, Bulgaria, Ireland, Sweden, Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Russia, Armenia and USA. These papers, reviewed by Congress Scientific committee of 32 members covered all three main areas regarding food industry: Hygienic Engineering and Design, Food Quality and Safety and Food Production and Food Processing. Relevant Topics, Authors Registration, Cover Letter, Abstracts Submission and Full papers Submission rules, Publication fees and Transliteration are intended to authors who want to submit their papers for publishing.

INDUSTRY

On regular basis, JHED presents all new developments, technologies and innovations within the food and beverage industry worldwide. Everything new about the industry can be found in Industry News. In the Regulatory News you can find what are working on regulatory bodies for food quality and safety worldwide. Also, in the Industry section you can find Interviews / Opinions with the key industry figure from companies and scientific community who are speaking about the pressing topics which are shaping the industry. Supplements give readers in-depth look at different topics important for the industry. Every topic is covered by leading experts and specialists from the academy and key food and beverage companies.
